You can certainly use this energy, since you’ve been dealing with much larger issues and forces with Chiron and Neptune opposing your natal ruler. Time to let go of those weighty, transpersonal lessons that are supposed to make you a better person. Sit back and simply enjoy the attention and feeling you’re about to receive.

Aquarius is still doing judo on your relationships, asking you to refine and define your role and commitment to them. There is one caveat though, when Mercury goes retrograde on the 7th, you need to make sure that you don’t make any promises that you cannot keep, especially as it relates to your closest friends. Your head might be in the clouds while your heart is cracking open, but it’s critical that you stay grounded while all of the heady energy that surrounds and permeates your thinking.

Fairness is a concept that suits you when it suits you, but this full moon cycle, you have no choice. It’s not like you have the power of life or death over your charges…but you do have a say in things, especially as it relates to those people you call brothers and sisters. While you’re distracted by much bigger picture issues now (if you’re not traveling get on a plane) you need to focus on arbitrating the needs of those closest to you. But please refrain from any sort of pious judgment. They know you have the power and if you can simply have everyone see your most exalted point of view, so much the better.

My suggestion for you would be to have these semi-serious heart-to-hearts over marshmallows and a campfire. That way you can make at least one allusion to marshmallows being like you: hot and charred on the outside and sweet and gooey in the middle.

Stand back while The Lion Queen sermonizes on some very important truths over the next few months. You’ve been saving up and holding back just a little and now, you’re ready to speak your mind. Go ahead, let it all hang out for awhile. You’ve got some things to get off your chest and as long as you’re not mean spirited, people will be more inclined to listen than not and that goes for the small issues of the day, right up to the global morass we’re staring down deep into as a society.

You’ve got some very important things to say, but be careful. Even though you won’t be mean spirited, people can get tired, very tired, very quickly of the unending shrill of truth. If you can, try to focus it like a laser beam in key moments then let ‘er rip with full intensity. You’ll be amazed by what concentrated blasts of authenticity and honesty can do as to the shotgun splay of it scattering everywhere. I would also highly suggest that you plan an overseas getaway in May. It would do you wonders and open you up to the mystery of the planet in a very spiritual sense.

I see Greek ruins, islands, azure seas, bleached marble, blond sand and timeless gods with piqued curiosity, pondering your presence. How does that sound? With Venus sliding back into Pisces be prepared to experience a profound upwelling of imagery and healing to come to you through dreams and sleep. While most of us get to work out our personal catharsis in the flesh, you can heal the broken places inside of you through the theater of dreams. Be prepared to do some conscious personal archeology work though. You don’t get off that easy.

The gap between what you have and what you used to have will never been more evident than this particular full moon as it rises upon the largest economic downturn in our lifetime. Being a regal sort, this does sit well with you at all. Like the kings and queens of other times and places, Leos like to assign blame as they are usually pretty darned good at taking care of business, while their captains-in-command are often less-than-perfect when it comes to executing the royal plan. But when there is no one to blame but ourselves, it becomes a bit tricky, and Leos — despite all of their pride, vanity and regal bearing — are actually quite insecure. This moon may really exacerbate those feelings of insecurity. Fret not, as one of the great gifts that having such personal power as that conferred upon you is the right to forgive and commute. One of my new, strange, little pastimes is playing poker on Yahoo! games. They have these funny little lounges where you can play “Hold’em.” I’ve mostly gone there because I’m too cheap to play the real, online deal against twenty-year-old Russians looking to steal my cash. So I was in one of these lounges just the other night and it was, as always, full. The IM function was humming with people texting each other as the games went on. It was clear that they knew each other from playing but it was not clear if they knew each other outside of this little environment with crummy fonts displaying their chatter.

What really struck me was how loving these people were. They were warm, familiar and very sweet with one another. But they weren’t at all exclusive or walled off. They welcomed me in and started loving me up. I lost hand after hand and I didn’t care very much because I was so into their vibe and I was fascinated by how a total group of strangers in a virtual world could be so caring towards one another. I didn’t see it as isolating, but viewed it much differently…as balm for those who did lead isolated lives in remote places.

Why am I sharing this little anecdote with you? Because you are a great and mighty lover and it’s time to claim it without judgment. Once you do, you’ll be able to find ways to share it with people in distant places, with little knowledge of who they are or what their story is. The world needs love and you have the goods. Let it out. Broadcast it. Drop the judgment, once and for all. The more you give, the more you’ll receive, even in the strangest little zones of our permeable realities.

Well, well, well. The is shadowy moon shines darkly upon you. Of all the signs, when I look at you and feel into your soul, I feel grief and longing. I hear minor chords and funerary songs. Unlike most signs, you are directly tied into a sense of innocence, which creates a semi-informed faith. I’m not sure that there is any other sign more freaked out about the economy than you are right now. First off, kings and queens looove nice things and comfort–all the things that money can buy and secondly, queendoms and kingdoms usually have property associated with them. Lions love their lairs. So you are probably pacing like a lion in a cage right now, especially with Uranus in your house of legacies and investments, swirling around in rather nebulous Pisces. You can’t get a hold of anything, from your broker to a fixed rate. Nothing is fixed for you right now, however this epic opposition affords you the opportunity to get very real with your finances and disperse with any illusions of grander that you’re holding near and dear. A few nights ago, I was at a concert where I saw a dear friend, doing her best impression of a young Jerry Hall, kicking up her heels and having a spirited time of it to say the least. I recently watched one of my favorite films from the seventies, Blue Collar, starring Richard Pryor, Yaphet Kotto and Harvey Keitel. While the films main themes of corruption of the unions, the plight of the working class and betrayal have nothing to do with your life at present, there’s a scene where Richard Pryor struts into a bar chanting, “partaay, partaay, partaay” over and over again. That’s your mantra for the first week of August as the solar energy of the leonine sun shines down upon you. You’re in demand and loving every single moment. That shifts mid-month and it’s all about practicality and the nitty-gritty from the eleventh on. Take advantage of the delicious vibes enveloping you right now through the eleventh. Late Leos born between the 19th and the 22nd receive a super jolt of creative intensity for the next few months with retrograding Pluto making contact with your natal sun. Look into past lives, in this one and others and look into who were and what you learned. A great creative exercise for you would be to create a past life collage and let the pictures you choose tell their story.
