First restraint and now restlessness. When will it end? There comes a time for you when everything flows together completely natural and unimpeded. In the great scheme of things the river flows into the bay, the bay opens to the ocean and the ocean touches the other shore. This is the metaphor I’d like you to think about right now. See the flow of your life in such large terms that it takes you to a visionary place inside yourself, the place that you yearn to return to in your soul, the place you started from before you came to this world. Allow your mind to safely travel and drift with the currents of your reveries and dreams. If at all possible, get near the water, the ocean, and spend some quality time there. Dial down the distractions and open up to a natural high that can have you reeling with inspiration fueled by a quietly giddy peace. It’s important for you to have these feelings and, here’s another nautical metaphor: anchor them in this reality because what you feel is an augur of things to come for the rest of us. During what we generously call a “downturn,” I would wager that there are people signing up for the army and selling their souls in almost equal numbers. Your challenge is to not succumb to either extreme, but find the internal, eternal rebel within. Make peace with that part of yourself that would sell out for almost any modern version of ten gold pieces. If all else fails, simply surrender to the power of your dreams. You of all signs can go with the flow for the rest. If even that fails, just curl up in a bed by your lonesome, a little hot cocoa, a bedtime tale and meet Nemo in your dreams.

You need to get busy. What do I mean by that? Make sure you’ve got everything you need to function smoothly in a time of crisis. In essence, think and act like a Virgo. You and The Virgin have been doing a very interesting dance with the opposition of Uranus and Saturn. Talk about two signs, each getting waxed by the other. But if I’m reading the room correctly, you’ve been learning more about and appreciating structure and order. For you, that’s good. Getting the house of Pisces in order is a major event. So don’t stop now. Get down and get in it. Do you have the right interest rate for your house and mortgage? Could you actually do a re-fi with a better rate now? Can you talk your credit card companies down to lowering your overall balance and pay it in full? Can you find a better deal for your car insurance? Do you have some cash around just in case your bank goes belly up? Do you have a enough fresh water to last a couple of weeks?

These are the types of questions you should be asking yourself and would be ready to move on if you can. You’re not preparing for the end of the world, per se, but you are tethering your camel just in case, while setting your worldly affairs in order. You can go back to being the nun in the abbey after July…but for now, you need to take care of business. With Venus retreating into you own sign for twelve days, starting on the 12th, get ready for people to suddenly appear in your life and tell you how beautiful and wonderful you are and were to them. This is a great boost of confidence and a real affirmation for you, but as always, with your sign, you need to be just a little more sagacious than other signs, since you want to blur and merge easier and more often than others might. In essence, enjoy the lovin’ but use a little discretion.

A few weeks back, I was in Los Angeles where I saw Wafaa Bilal, an Iraqi artist, give a talk about an installation he did called, “Shoot An Iraqi.” He had lost both his brother and his father in Iraq due to the war. In order to work out his grief, incite dialog, and make a commentary on remote killing, he set up a room that he would stay in for thirty days with a paint gun hooked up to a computer, where people could go online, read his story, use a web cam and a servo-remote-mechanism hooked up to his computer and shoot him. He did this for THIRTY DAYS! He videotaped nearly all of it. There was one day where the gun was going off furiously and he couldn’t re-fill the pain ball magazine fast enough. I found this to be really disturbing on so many levels.

Why am I relating this to you? Because you have given your partners enough ammo to make their point. Stop feeding the gun and, in fact, leave the room. Everyone has proven their point and learned their lessons — anything else is just overkill.

I’m starting with Pisces first this month because we’re smack dab in the middle of your birthday month and I usually start with Aries, but want to give you the benefit of fresh neurons and neuron-receptors at the outset of this report. Well first off, happy birthday to the most misunderstood sign of the cosmos. We all know about your faults and foibles, about how you like to hang out in graveyards, or hospitals, or monasteries, or prisons, or mental institutions, or any other place that gives you a feeling of relative safety. There’s something about the dark, the cloistered and the closeted that allows you to disconnect from this world and re-connect with the vastness of spirit that spend much of your life attempting to merge with once again.

So your struggle is to find ways in which you can dissolve into spirit without abusing them or any other substance. Your medium to achieve this, of course, is art. You need to create and pour your sensitivities into form and the most important anything a Pisces can is not judge what comes through them, for to do so would be to alter the very relationship to the creative process and shut off the flow, which leads to some of the more celebrated and cliche behaviors ascribed to your sign.

Your mission this month is to not judge where anything is headed or what comes out of your head, especially as it relates to relating, with Venus doing backflips in your house of secrets and mystery. Whatever happens is perfect and a true moment of surrender is being called on for you right now. The best thing that I would do if I were you is find ways to keep the energy moving; write poems, paint, compose, perform, dance, do whatever it takes and when you do, don’t judge what comes through. Let it go and let it flow.

You have such a sensitive constitution (like Virgo) and I would highly advise that you take care of yourself in every way, shape and form this moon cycle. That means the most nurturing foods, the most vital juices and the best sleep you can muster. I’m not advocating that you check out — you can already do that well enough. I’m suggesting this course of action because I want you to be very, very present and aware that when you treat the body as a temple — even in the midst of a storm — angels will alight within and fill you with a warmth and glow. This inner heat/light will become a beacon for others, a light onto the world, where the theme for us all is surrender. That is when your role as the practical mystic kicks in and you can be of service from incredibly high levels of wisdom and healing. But it’s crucial that you take care of yourself so that ultimately, you can take care of the rest of us.

While Aquarius is visibly and ostensibly crazy, even aware of just how out there they can be, you on the other hand are driven by energies you cannot understand and that’s just fine. Let your madness guide you into places that you might never visit (internally of course). I would just make sure that when you leave your body at night, to make sure you remember where you left it. All slight kidding aside, your inner life is off the charts in February and throughout most of the year, Jupiter will make sure that you are focused on the more subtle plains of existence. It’s essentially allowing you to become more intimate with visionary spaces, so that in 2010, you’ll be able share your most wildly inspired creations with the world.

Consider this month an intense initiation into those fields of imagination and spirit. While you’re assessing the realms of inner beauty, Venus, alighting in your second house makes you very aware of beauty in this world as well. You’re magnetic and beautiful and you’re drawn to beauty as well. Immerse yourself in it, paint, draw, sculpt, do whatever you can to make the visionary real. Give birth to something that’s swirling in the depths of your psyche, even if it’s incomplete, because whatever you can breath spirit into and give it form. For you, no creation is insignificant at this point in time.

The soul is the transponder between the human experience and the divine and within the soul lies the circuitry for highest manifestation of our dreams and wishes. By getting in touch with our soul, we get in touch with the highest manifestations of our will, or our true will, the will where we and God are one.

I know, it sounds kind of crazy and just slightly parental, like “Daddy knows best.” But if you can get beyond the social conditioning and the heavy baggage around words like “God” and “soul” you’ll find that if you surrender to your highest dreams and aspirations, you’ll be rewarded by such acts of daring. This is a prelude for when Jupiter moves into your sign in 2010 and you’ll be plugged into the magic like it’s a light socket. For now, get used to the trickle of the energy and find the flow. Dear Pisces, you need to walk gingerly when it comes to dealing with you family over the weekend. Mothers, children, siblings are coming at you from all directions and it would not be out of the question to find yourself in the middle of a domestic maelstrom of grand proportion, most of which is born out of misunderstandings that somehow you are being asked to mediate, either directly or indirectly. Can I just follow you around with a video camera for the next thirty days? You have an esoteric relationship with Libra in that is familiar and can be seen in the two angles of The Enneagram. Libra is a typical two in The Enneagram, and is deeply engaged in relating to the other to find answers about the self. Libra is mostly conflict avoidant and seeks to make peace at almost any cost. Pisces is similar in it’s conflict avoidance but isn’t as driven to make peace and find balance. Pisces just wants to be left alone. . . to be.
