There comes a time for you when everything flows together completely natural and unimpeded. In the great scheme of things the river flows into the bay, the bay opens to the ocean and the ocean touches the other shore. This is the metaphor I’d like you to think about right now. See the flow of your life in such large terms that it takes you to a visionary place inside yourself, the place that you yearn to return to in your soul, the place you started from before you came to this world. Allow your mind to safely travel and drift with the currents of your reveries and dreams. If at all possible, get near the water, the ocean, and spend some quality time there. Dial down the distractions and open up to a natural high that can have you reeling with inspiration fueled by a quietly giddy peace. It’s important for you to have these feelings and, here’s another nautical metaphor: anchor them in this reality because what you feel is an augur of things to come for the rest of us. Go there this weekend and send us all a postcard.

There comes a time in some of our lives when we have to make ethical choices in our careers. Is what we are doing for money and self-actualization aligned with who we really are? Is the gap between our inner selves and our career selves getting wider to the point where we are getting perilously close to being cognitively dissonant? This full moon cycle is a major moment for you in terms of how healthy the relationship is between your soul and the corporate soul. Are you doing work that is getting dangerously close to standards that you do not agree with? This is important to ask and to know, because it doesn’t just affect you; it affects all of us in some way shape or form. They say that “with power comes responsibility” and in your case, this full moon cycle will bear that out in great detail. If it’s the latter, then why? What do you have to gain by always establishing your place at the top of the inter-personal hierarchy whenever given the chance? If you do get called on it or it does backfire on you, consider it a blessing. If you are able to read these words and they mean something to you, then I would suggest you exalt your fellow man and woman. Lift them up to the places that you dwell and honor their existence and contribution in your life. You’ll be nothing short of amazed by what comes back to you as a result.

I bet you’re already feeling the powers of the moon in your dreams. I wish I could have some of that fancy new technology they’re working on so I could tap into the neural network of the brain while dreaming, then turn those dreams into pictures on a screen. Oh yeah, it’s out there somewhere. If I had access to that technology, I’d plug into you right now, because your dreams are like a cross between and Harold Robbins novel, Chekov and The Epic Of Gilgamesh.

Like all of the other signs, the directive is to pay attention to what you are seeing and experiencing. Some extremely important info is coming to you in your dreams and it’s vital that you not just capture it, but act on it in some way that makes your dreams real and brings them into your waking life, honoring their place in the holistic universe of your psyche. We’re talking oneness on a number of different levels. Unification of body, mind and spirit is the task at hand and it all starts with the wide screen dream theater of your nocturnal brain.

One of my favorite characters in all of history is Rasputin. In fact, it was a name that an old friend of mine tagged me with back in the nineties (in a loving way of course). I was always fascinated by his inability to play by the rules and grab hold of a nation’s imagination with a mesmeric quality. In death, his supernatural reputation grew even larger. Had Rasputin been all that, he would have seen the fall of The Czars with graphic clarity and kept Peter home with his troops to fend off The Bolsheviks. But he didn’t and we know the tragic end of that story. In reality, he was a really lousy person and an even worse prophet. During this full moon phase there is something very Rasputin-like about you. Not only can you win friends and influence people, you could take over a whole city given the right technology. But, are you prepared to be responsibile for your thoughts and actions? Can you see deeply enough into your own future to create it at the highest and best levels for all involved? If not, remember that without Rasputin there would have likely not been communism and the cold war as a result. Feel the power, but use it very, very wisely.

What do you value? What has importance and meaning in your life? Are you more concerned about immediate gratification or letting your emotions, experiences and good wine get better with age? This a critical question during this eventful moon cycle, because if you pay close enough attention, you can re-write your story around money, value, and self-worth. The key for you is legacy. Not just in terms of what someone left you, but what you will leave this world. If you died tomorrow, how would you be remembered? Would you be satisfied with what you did here? If the answer does not match your standards, then this is the time to do something about it. Re-write your legacy and get serious about why you’re here. Commit. If you can do this, then your relationship with value, money and self worth will take serious turn for the better.

You analytical types are in for a big surprise over the next few days. The veil between your rational world and your inner, intuitive world will get very, very thin. For All Signs

I witnessed a glimpse into the future earlier in the week. I was at a drop-in gymnastics/circus gym with my five-year-old son — a huge expansive place with tramps, bars, balance beams, and trapeze swings. There was a young man supervising the kids who was doing some great jumps, flops and flips on the trampoline. My son eyed him for about ten minutes, then tried to emulate the young man with his own version of silly flops.

Then, all of a sudden, my son bounces once, dips his shoulders and does a half-flip, not once, twice, but three times. He went from a straight bounce to a half-flip with no help or guidance. It was a radical event for me, not just as a father, but for someone that is always seeking, looking for clues about where we’re headed and what’s in store for us as it relates to our consciousness. My son’s simple half-flip showed me that we have what it takes internally to get to where we’re going without a lot of the same rules and restrictions that we’ve lived with. For me, this is our future legacy both literally and figuratively.

That alarm clock that just went off in your head is the sound that you need to get your financial act together and fast. Getting your house in order is critical for you now. What does that mean? Re-fi if you can. Settle credit card debt. Do whatever you can in order to not feel like the financial situation has you out of control. Don’t be afraid to ask for help either. There are people that are willing to help you as long as you can approach them with humility and the commitment to get things right, you’ll attract some real angels in this area. Don’t go it alone or feel unworthy. Take the hand and let it lift you up to another level.

Under the skin of your life, things are happening in a very big way, that might seem to contrast the worldly affairs that you need to take care of, but the two are not mutually exclusive. You can lean on the insights and inspiration that are almost bombarding you on a 24/7 basis and flip it into a real plan of action for yourself. How often do you get to marry inspiration with a plan of action? Well, you may not be Adam Lambert, but that star power is coursing through the life of every water bearer. Don’t shy away from it — Lambert sure as hell hasn’t. Own your own unique and particular genius and let it shine like no other time. This is an incredibly instructive and empowering phase for you and others that know you. With Juoiter, Neptune and Chrion opposing The Leo, especially late Leo Sun, bringing the high and mighty lions down to size is definitely on the menu, but if you can avoid any hubris or excessive pride, you’re on fire right now. You can’t always be holding space of others, making sure they get to come along for the ride as well. There are times when you need to put yourself out there and take credit for the work that you have done and the work you will be doing. I recently went to a press screening of “Tyson” a documentary on the troubled fighter by film maker, James Toback. Tyson comes across as brutally honest and extremely sensitive. It’s pretty clear that he was a creation, a Frankenstein of fists and fury that made money for lots of people, but all he ever wanted was to be loved and respected. Mike Tyson is a Cancer and there is something very resonant about his story for you right now, especially as it relates to your career. You don’t have to pummel the competition, but you do have to stand up for yourself.

Mercury retrograde portends a time when you will get back in touch with dreams, both figurative and literal and get much closer to what is meaningful for you, beyond your career. So be prepared to do some inner work as well as outer, especially as it relates to your hopes and aspirations of the future.
