Happy birthday dear old Virgin. Virgo might be the most mis-understood sign of the zodiac. While it often gets a rap for being the consummate nit picker and prude, a quick scan of famous Virgos reveals some rather salacious characters like Charlie Sheen, Lenny Bernstein, Pee Wee Herman, Ivan The Terrible and DH Lawrence (a moralist in disguise). While no one would ever deny you a romp in the hay, you really need to focus on how partners impact your sense of safety, security and ultimately purpose. This is a critical theme this month as Saturn bears down on your personality, forcing you to either surrender to your inner nerd or burn a reasonable likeness on an altar, you need to ask yourself the following question: “Who am I on this journey with and why?” The follow up, should sound something like this: “Are they really there for my best interests?” If the answer is anywhere near “no.” then it might be time to re-dress the equality in your partnerships, which I have no doubt will lead to greater ease and relaxed attitudes towards not only finances, but your own self-worth. The best birthday gift you could give yourself this month is letting go of relationships that suck your energy and drag you down. Cast off your insecurities and claim your own sovereignty.
