You’ve heard the saying that goes…we can’t choose our family, but we can choose our friends? Well, when it comes to people who accompany us on this life journey, the people who appear in the story of our lives…they are all with us for a reason, whether we choose them or not.

Enemies, friends, business colleagues, competition, fans, critics, family…everyone who appears on the silver screen of our life story is there to help make the story work. Some are pleasant protagonists and others are irritating antagonists, but they all help to build the character development, the plot, and the meaning of the script.

What’s important is that we learn from everyone in our lives and receive what they are here to teach us. As the leading man or woman in our story…it’s important that we transform by the end of the story, that we fulfill our purpose in some way. Both the protagonists and antagonists can help us do that. They are all here to accompany us…sometimes lifetime after lifetime in different ways and in different roles.

So this month’s theme is about celebrating the partnerships in our lives — those we choose and those we don’t. We can be grateful for all of them, since they all help us to grow.
