In Harmony With Nature, Literally; RA Music Technology

May 9th, 2008

What would happen if we could change the scale of music ever-so-slightly so that it would be more harmonically in tune with the rhythms and cycles of nature? This is a question that Hollywood composer and sound effects master, Alan Howarth asked himself and the results were surprising to say the least.

Howarth has cut his musical chops whipping up assorted bleeps, blasts and bangs for a number of major motion pictures. From Star Trek to Indiana Jones to dozens of Si-fi scores, you’ve probably heard his craft in action. But finding the source of all natural frequencies and rhythms became his true grail quest.

Together with his partner, a mathematical genius, who had similar thoughts along the same lines, Howarth set out to prove that a natural tuning of music existed before the early 20th century. Sounding like something that could be a Spielberg thriller in it’s own right, his quest took he and a team to Egypt to understand geometric and acoustic resonance of The Great Pyramid and how it related to what Howarth calls, “natural frequency spectrum.” By having a deeper understanding of the ancient frequencies versus the modern one, which places the note A at 440 cycles pre second, Howarth and the team were convinced that they had uncovered the musical equivalent of The Rosetta Stone.

He and his fellow researchers have discovered that Mother Nature has a different “Natural Standard Frequency.” When whales, dolphins and birds sing they are on a ‘Natural Standard.’ They found that all of nature is in tune with itself like a “Grand Living Orchestra” The living world, separate from what humans have chosen as music, is all in harmony with nature already. The “A” note in RA music has a frequency centered on 424 cycles per second, this turns out to be correct all over the world.” It was this compelling and profound realization, which led Howarth to his next step.

He realized that the whole concept of re-setting the frequencies of music has both enormous consequences and potential which could theoretically bring us back into personal and collective harmony simply by listening to music in the natural tunings. He and his crew created RA Music where you can actually go to www.ramusic.com and for a small fee, upload and convert your collection or personal compositions into the natural sound frequencies, which gives one a much more powerful musical experience. RA Music is now tuned to your mind and body.

Now, more than ever, we need to re-attune our inner frequencies and rhythms to a more natural dwelling place of pure and undiluted primal harmonics.

Alan Howarth might just have uncovered the greatest musical sound effects of our lifetime.
