A New Place of Union and Oneness, Opening of the Oneness Temple
Today marks the opening of a new temple in India, dedicated to the non-denominational practice of oneness and union. It is a place where people from all over the world and from all beliefs can come together, learn, and practice oneness with the devine. Nearly 700,000 people attended the opening ceremony in Southern India. The Oneness organization, known also as the Oneness Movement (OM) , and the Oneness University, is dedicated to bringing all religions together to experience the devine. As it’s co-founder, Amma Bhagavan says…
“You create your God. You create your Life. You create your Religion. You could choose to pray to me and discard my teachings; you could choose to follow my teachings and not pray to me; you could deny both but accept the Oneness Blessing. All that I am interested in is helping you. Every way is alright with me as long as it comes naturally to you.” - Sri Amma Bhagavan
We celebrate the opening of the new Oneness Temple with our friends in India and around the world. For more information on the organization and its founders and philosophies, see the the Oneness University web site or refer to the global contacts page for a detailed list of international representatives. For more information about the temple opening and visitation, see The Guest Page.
Here is a video made during the construction of the temple to celebrate with music and dance the joy of the temple’s purpose. Music, meditation, chanting and yoga are all fundamental to the Oneness University experience.
