Relationship Web Highlights: The Postnuptial Agreement, The Metaphysical Side of Miscarriages, Being Happy in Your Relationship

It’s Never Too Late to Put it in Writing

Here’s a concept that might not have crossed your mind: Couple gets postnup which saves their marriage. This couple had been married for thirty years and still deeply loved each other, but had issues. Issues that threatened to ultimately break them apart from one another. But fortunately, they got creative and formed a postnuptial -– which is similar to the prenuptial you may have heard about, sometimes with some stigma attached (deserved or undeserved) — except the postnuptial is done during the marriage instead of before it. Just as negotiation is vital to the survival of a relationship, these two were clear about what each wanted out of the relationship going forward and acted upon it officially, lending both some much needed ease over long-time wounds. It’s nice to have a happy ending, especially for two people who did not wish to lose each other. Check out the inspiring details on CNN.com .

Pregnancy is a Co-Creation

On Veronica’s blog on holistic and authentic living, she has posted a response to a reader’s question regarding connecting her personal emotional states with her miscarriages. Titled, The Metaphysical Side of Miscarriages, Veronica gives a detailed account of how she believes that her miscarriages were a result of where she was in her life at the time as well as what relationship things were going on with the would-be fathers. She shares these inspiring words: “One thing I feel strongly about when it comes to miscarriages is that pregnancy is a co-creation…” See her complete heartfelt post at veronikarobinson.blogspot.com.

Stop Being Needy…Focus On Yourself

“It’s really not the job of others to fulfill our happiness…” says Tamera Daun of Pentad, Simplifying Life and Love. In her post “Personal Development and Relationships. What the heck?” she dives into the idea that the only real way to succeed in relationship is to focus on your own happiness. That makes you less needy and consequently, your happiness spills over into the relationship…and that’s what matters. The entire post can be found at www.pentads.blogspot.com.
