Spring has definitely sprung as “Aries The Ram” bursted into our lives on the Spring Equinox in March. Coincidentally, it was also the first day of the Mayan calendar as well, which means…well, it’s anybody’s guess, as this doesn’t happen all that often so there is not a lot of history to draw on. But as I scour the psychic recesses of my higher mind and commune with the oversoul of Chronos, the theme that blinks on and off like a lipstick-red, cosmic neon diner sign is Change Now. That’s the energy available to everyone, re-birth, renewal, re-finance, re-define and re-dedicate…but not relax. Relaxing comes later in the month when lazy Taurus will want to slow the pace to “stop and smell the roses.” The first part of April, however, is more like “wake up and smell the coffee.”

Aries and Pluto in Capricorn butt heads early in the month, so while some folks want to make change happen with all of the supportive energy in Aries (via the Sun, Mercury and Venus), Pluto is defining the rules of engagement. Change is inevitable this month, but quite often, not on most people’s terms. Take cues from the environment — both the social environment and your immediate one — and use the martial energy of The Ram to power and empower whatever course of action is being shown to you. When Taurus arrives near the end of the month, you’ll be able to guide and direct the energy of change on a more personal level, but for now the universe has the first move. A special note to all families and couples: at this time April is a very sensitive month for finances. Stay cool and don’t invest in blame. Seek to find solutions instead of mistakes that may or may not have been made. Now let’s look at all twelve signs.
