The Soul’s Journey

One thing that’s comforted me in times of trauma, defeat, remorse and regret…is the knowledge that my soul is traveling through a much larger storyline than the day-to-day happenings of this life. In fact, it is this over-arching journey that my soul is taking that may hold the answers to why I’m here and what I’m doing. Occasionally, I’ve been able to step out of my present situation and look from a “bird’s eye view” at my entire soul’s journey up to and beyond the current moment of my life. The vantage point is spectacular and the sense of detached awareness is soothing to the soul.

We often get caught up in the drama and trauma of the world around us and our lives in it. Soul age study, or past life therapy, can be a way of understanding a larger purpose for our existence. It reveals a grand evolution of our being through different and distinct incarnations. Whether or not you actually “remember” and “believe” these past-life incarnations is not as important as what these stories reveal to you and how they shed light on your existence in the here and now.

Could past life stories be nothing more than the imagination and subconscious mind making parallels and cross references that help explain and contextualize the present? They certainly could be. Or maybe we are beings that re-incarnate again and again until our karma is fulfilled and our souls are transcendent. Either way, the past life inquiry is one that can add dimension to your world and lift you out of the present maze of thought and activity.

In these pages, I hope to bring you a number of great articles about the soul, the soul’s journey and the over-arching storylines that make up our existences. For starters, try our simple “Old Soul Quiz” to test how old your soul is. You can find it here.
